The House of Representatives has voted to permanently defund Planned Parenthood with the passage of H.R. 7.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (The Breakdown) – The U.S. House of representatives rendered a vote of 238 to 183 on January 24th, 2017 to permanently ban taxpayer funding of abortion.

House Bill H.R. 7 known as “The No Taxpayer Funding of Abortion Act (HR7)” was introduced by New Jersey Republican Chris Smith and has made permanent the Hyde Amendment, which was subject to renewal on a yearly basis.

The Hyde Amendment has itself saved and estimated two million lives since 1976, the first year it was enacted.

This is considered a major victory for the pro-life movement her in the U.S. and a great example to the countries worldwide.

“President Trump has some pro-life evangelicals up in arms during his campaign,” said Aaron Barker, host of The Breakdown Radio program.  “Hopefully, this will super charge the movement and see a greater expansion of efforts to finally eliminate this horrible holocaust.”
