Few things make me as joyous as watching the ladies on the view having a total conniption.  It seems that the Trump victory last night provided the best platform for them to lose their ever-loving-minds.

Yet in the midst of their insanity and Dark Crystal-type screeching, there is a voice of reason name Candace Cameron Bure.

She takes control of the insanity, if only for a few moments, to drop this bomb of common sense on her fellow co-hosts:

If anything, I hope that no matter which side you were on – it brings all of us as a people […] to our knees, our face to the floor, that we pray for our country. That we pray for him. Whether you think he could turn this upside down or you’re praying that he will uphold the positions that he said he would. I pray that we come together for that in humility.  Because God says “when we humble ourselves.”

The scripture she was going for was 2 Chronicles 7:14:

…if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Context aside, a call for national and personal repentance is always in order, especially in our already contentious cultural situation.

Enjoy that ray of sunshine in an otherwise murky quagmire of senseless garble, commonly know as Joy Behar.
