TAMPA – It is being reported that 200 people walked out of Amy Schumer’s comedy show a the Amalie Arena in Tampa on Sunday night after she began mocking Donald Trump.
Attendees became upset after Schumer delved into the political rather than keeping to her show. Although most of those in attendance seemed to be supportive of her stance there was a large enough contingent to make a statement.
Included in her rant against Trump was her stance on gun control, something which has been solidified since two young women were killed in a shooting at one of her movies last year. Mayci Breaux and Jillian Johnson were among the three killed after a gunman opened fire, ending the fiasco by taking his own life.
At one point, she allows a Trump supporter to come on stage to defend his stance which she abruptly ends when he says, “I’m not really voting for Trump, I’m voting against Hillary.”
One wonders how Ms. Schumer can make a living with her vulgar mouth, blatantly disgusting statements about women, and glorification of promiscuity – yet bash Trump calling him an “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster.”
Please, Amy, continue to be our beacon of morality and cultural change.
