Urban Philosophers and the Bible

A great urban philosopher once asked, “can’t we all just get along?” Well, can we? Let’s break it down.

Many conservatives and Christians blame the public education system, the new world order, or the deep state for all our societal ills. They make the case that teaching evolution or critical race theory destroys our heritage, creating an environment ripe for the cancel culture.

But if all politics is local, shouldn’t all kindness and decency be as well?

We’re told in the Bible to be “kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you,” (Ephesians‬ ‭4:32‬) and also to “Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man,” (Colossians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

If we followed this teaching, we could unify across all creeds, people groups, and faiths, creating a society that engenders love towards our fellow man.

This wasn’t the case when a couple of guys attacked two transgender women outside a Huntington Beach bar. After being assaulted by these miscreants, the two transgender persons produced a stun gun and pepper spray ready to defend themselves. The police charged the two transgender citizens with felony assault. A judge later dismissed the charges due to insufficient evidence.

This would-be altercation wouldn’t have happened if there was mutual love and respect for mankind built upon the principles of a just society.

Let me just add a Kentucky word of wisdom. If you’re looking to get into a brawl, it’s best not to pick a fight with a man who willingly cut off his genitalia. You aren’t gonna to win that battle.

Dudes got zero effs to give.
